Prenatal Yoga to Relieve Stress

Prenatal yoga is an excellent way to decrease stress and tension in your body and mind.  The reason why yoga is so beneficial is because yoga uses a deep “complete” breath which brings a lot of oxygen to your body and brain.  Many of my clients say the yoga breath feels “cleansing”.  Most of the time we walk around breathing shallow.  Have you ever noticed that when you feel anxiety you take a deep breath?  This is the body’s automatic way of relaxing your body and mind.  Thus when you do prenatal yoga DVD’s or classes using the deep, cleansing yoga breath you will experience a great feeling of relaxation.
