Prenatal Yoga Stretch To Prepare for Labor

A great prenatal yoga stretch to open up the pelvis and ease discomfort in the low back, buttocks, and inner thigh is the “butterfy”.  To do the move, seated, bring the soles of your feet together.  Inhale, lift your knees up towards the ceiling, exhale release your knees toward the ground.  Repeat 15-20 reps.  At the bottom of the last rep gently press your nose towards your toes.  Hold for 5-10 counts.
