Postpartum Exercise- Tone the Butt and Thighs

A great postpartum exercise to tone the butt and thighs is what I call, “walking lunges”.  What you do is place your hands on your hips and step forward about 3 feet with your right foot.  As you step forward, your left knee goes towards the ground.  Keep your weight over your back leg (left) so your knees make 90 degree angles and your front knee (right) never goes over your front toe (right).  Slowly come up and step forward with your left leg, repeating the same positioning on this side.  Work up to 2-3 sets of 20 lunges.  Also you can do the walking lunges while holding your stroller.  For more info on how to do the move see my Stroller Workout DVD https://fitbysara.com/stroller-workout.php
