Yoga Exercise for Relaxation and Peace of Mind

The yoga breath is the key to relaxation, inner peace, and a deeper connection with yourself.  Try this simple relaxation exercise.  Lay down flat on your bed or on a mat on the floor, face up with your arms extended down your sides, palm up.  As you inhale feel your belly and chest rising, as you exhale feel your body becoming grounded towards the floor.  Keep your focus on your breath and the gentle flowing movement it creates.  Think of your breath like water, and picture your body gently moving up and down.
