Prenatal Yoga for the Final Weeks of Your Pregnancy

One of the best prenatal yoga exercises for the end of your pregnancy is “cat and cow”.  It will help to ease discomfort in the low back, plus it may help to turn your baby!  My first son was facing the wrong direction and my midwife instructed me to do cat and cow several times a day.  A few days before my delivery he turned!

To do cat and cow: Get on your hands and knees.  Your hands should be right below your shoulders.  Inhale raise your tailbone towards the ceiling and look up, exhale tuck your pelvis under and tuck your head towards your chest.
