A common question I’ve had is whether it’s safe to start yoga when you are pregnant if you have never done yoga before. The answer is, YES! First and foremost check with your doctor about exercising in general. Once given the go ahead, find a beginner yoga class catered to pregnant women. Start off slow and listen to your body. Stay consistent and you will be amazed by the results! You will most likely notice a decrease in muscle pain, an improvement in mood, an increase in flexibility and even more muscle tone.
