Postpartum Weight Loss- What are you Drinking?

When it comes to losing the postpartum pounds many women focus on what they are eating, and don’t think about what they are drinking.  Soft drinks, alcohol, and fruit drinks (i.e. those with only 10% real juice) are packed with empty calories.  I had one client cut her alcohol consumption from 1 drink every evening to 1 drink 1x per week.  In one month she dropped 5 lbs!  One study indicated that if you cut the soda habit, “you can lose a pound in one month and 15 pounds a year.” (University of Michigan Health System)
