Postpartum Weight Loss- Start Back Slowly

Most mommas are excited and motivated to lose the baby weight shortly after baby has arrived.  Just be sure to start back slowly 4-6 weeks after baby (and doctor’s approval) with exercises like walking and yoga.  If you workout too hard too soon it can result in an increase in bleeding and prolong healing.  Listen to your body, take the rest you need, and focus on exercise to feel good vs. to lose weight at the beginning.
