Postpartum Weight Loss- Squat Jumps

If you’re looking to lose weight but you just don’t have much time to exercise, start incorporating  “polymetrics” into your workouts.  Polymetrics are bursts of high intensity exercises followed by lower intensity exercises that get your heart rate way up for a short period of time so you burn a bunch of calories during the lower intensity exercises.  An example of a polymetric exercise is “Squat Jumps”.  To do the exercise place your feet shoulder width a part and sit back like you’re sitting in a chair.  As you come to stand jump straight up.  Repeat for 20-30 seconds then follow with a power walk or jog.  Repeat the “squat jump” every 5 min.  Notice your increase in your heart rate, feel your muscles burn, and love the results!
