Postpartum Weight Loss- No Need To Cut Out Carbs

When I first meet with clients, many of them tell me they’ve “cut out all carbs” and have been “really good about eating” but can’t seem to stick with it.  That’s the problem with cutting out carbs, your body needs some carbohydrates to function at it’s best so when we don’t get what our bodies need we start craving fast food which is typically loaded with fat and calories.  My solution is to continue to eat carbs, just chose your carbs wisely.  Meaning instead of white breads and pastas chose whole grain breads, pastas and cereals.  Also change your portions sizes-pack your plate with veggies and a have a smaller portion of pasta.  Simple changes result in big results without depriving!
