If you want to lose postpartum pounds I highly recommend sticking to fresh food and avoid processed foods. The reason I say to avoid processed foods is because they are prepared with a lot of salt. Salt causes water retention and bloating, along with an increase in blood pressure. Food are processed to extend their shelf life. So when you go grocery shopping, I recommend that you buy foods that are fresh such as “fresh” fruit, veggies, fish, and other meats. Avoid packaged meats and soups high in sodium.
