Many of us moms are on the go with little time to prepare and eat meals at the table. When you eat on the rush, you’ll typically eat too much too fast and the result is weight gain and body fat. I recommend that you eat at LEAST one meal a day at the table with your family. There are plenty of fast dishes you can prepare like turkey burgers with lowfat mozerella cheese and a side salad or veggies, whole grain pasta with marinera, Pizza with the crust already prepared, etc.. Make meals fun by getting your kids involved with setting the table, and helping you prepare the meals. When you eat, set an example for your children. Eat slowly and say “yummmm”, show that food is enjoyable. The more you take your time, and enjoy your food the quicker you’ll lose weight, plus you’ll be setting a great example for your children!
