Postpartum Weight Loss- Bring Snacks!

When you want to lose postpartum weight it can be challenging to eat healthy while you’re on the go.  The key is to pack healthy snacks like a protien bar (I prefer Balance Bars, Go Lean Bars, or Cliff Bars because they have a good protien, carb, and fat ratio and they taste good!), or nuts (almonds are high in dieatary fiber and the “good” fat will keep you satisfied longer), or a banana (bananas are filling, especially with peanut butter.  Bananas also are high in potassium- an essential mineral, which is particularly useful with reducing leg and foot cramps).  Healthy snacks will curb your appetite so you consume smaller meals and thus burn more calories.  When you snack you will be satisfied and you will burn more calories which translate to losing weight!
