Postpartum Weight Loss- Breakfast

To Sara of Fit by Sara: “I know that breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, but I don’t know what I should be eating.  What do you eat?”

From Fit by Sara: “Since I’m a busy mom, I don’t have a lot of time to prepare food.  But that doesn’t matter to me because I’ve found great cereals full of fiber and protien to keep me going.  My favorite cereal is Kashi Go Lean Crunch combined with Kashi Autumn Wheat.  The combo is delicious with lowfat milk or vanilla soymilk.  If you have time and enjoy eggs, you could make an egg white omelet with mozerella cheese, avacado and veggies of your choice with a side of toasted whole wheat bread.  Another great and healthy option is steel cut oatmeal with raisins, walnuts and lowfat milk.
