To Sara of Fit by Sara: “In your opinion what do you think is the best exercise to tone up the abs?”
From Fit by Sara: “My personal favorite exercise to tone the abs is yoga. In addition to toning the abdominals, yoga also strengthens the low back, lengthens the leg and arm muscles and gives a sense of inner peace and calm. Other great exercises to tone the abs include: kickboxing, pilates and zumba. Just keep in mind that you won’t see your toned abdominals if they are covered with a layer of fat. So be aware of what your diet consists of, and chose healthy foods and moderate portions.” -Sara Holliday MFT, CPT
