Postpartum Weight Loss- Almonds and Dark Chocolate

Gotta sweet tooth and you’re hungry?  One of my personal favorite snacks to satisfy my hunger and my sweet tooth are almonds and dark chocolate.  I take about 1-2 handfuls of raw almonds (they sell a large quantity for a good price at Costco) mixed w/ 1-2  handfulls of Giradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips (60% cocoa).  YUM!!  Enjoy the benefits:
Raw Almonds – High in protein, fiber, vitamin E, magnesium and potassium.  They also reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering cholesterol.
Dark Chocolate Chips– 60% cocoa and higher are high in flavinoids (which act as an antioxidant to protect the body from aging).  Dark chocolate also reduces blood pressure and cholesterol and can reduce depression.
