Fitness In Your Third Trimester of Pregnancy

So many pregnant women are unsure what they can do in their third trimester of pregnancy.  My best advice is to listen to your body.  For me personally, I worked out quite intensely until the last month of my pregnancy.  Then I slowed down a lot.  I walked at a slow pace, swam, and did relaxation yoga.   As you can see, I continued to stay mobile because it helped to keep my mood positive, and kept me connected to myself and my baby (especially with the yoga.  See my 3rd trimester yoga DVD for more details).  It’s very important to stay hydrated, by drinking a LOT of water…yes, more than usual.  By staying hydrted, you will reduce the chances of overheating and getting edema (or swelling).
