How times have you gone to bed with your mind racing? Here is a quick and simple prenatal yoga exercise to relax your entire body, and give you a good night’s sleep. Lay comfortably on your left side. Bring your knees up to a 90 degree angle. Starting at your feet, take a deep breath into your feet. Move up to your calves, take a deep breath into your calves, take a deep breath into your thighs, take a deep breath into you glutes, take a deep breath into your adominals, a deep breath into your low back, a deep breath into your chest, a deep breath into your upper back, a deep breath into you shoulders, arms, hands and fingers, a deep breath into your neck and head, and last a deep cleansing breath over your entire body. Enjoy a good nights sleep! (Note: this relaxation exercise is at the end of my Second Trimester Yoga DVD.)
