Postpartum Weight Loss: Craving Food to Stay Awake?

Did you know that you may crave food if you haven’t had enough rest?  In order to get energy to function you may mistakingly think you’re hungry.  The problem is by eating food you’re consuming extra calories your body doesn’t need which will result in weight gain.  In addition you’ll be more likely to reach for artificial stimulus, such as coffee or sodas to stay alert which isn’t good for your body either.  If you notice that you’re craving food and or caffine access whether thats REALLY what your body needs.  Perhaps a 20 min. catnap will do the trick.
