Clients often ask me when they can start exercising. My answer is to first check with your doctor. If you exercised prior to getting pregnant, you can usually continue your exercise routine up until almost the end of your pregnancy! I have clients that did my stroller workout class called “Fit Mommas” and my Stroller DVD/CD all the way up until the day they delivered. And they bounced back super quick too. If you are new to exercising, it’s not too late to start when you’re pregnant. Just like you would prior to getting pregnant, do simple exercises such as walking, swimming, and relaxation yoga (i.e., “Hatha”). Build your stamina, and listen to your body!
