Postpartum Weight Loss- Eating Out of Boredom

A common weight gain culprit is eating out of boredom.  The foods most people eat when bored are high in fat or high sugar foods such as chips, ice cream, cookies, etc..  If you want to lose weight, the first step is to become aware of your eating out of boredom habit.  The second step is to replace eating/ snacking when you are bored to a healthy alternative.  Healthy alternatives include: calling a friend, going for a walk, or reading a book or magazine.  When you chose “healthy alternatives” you’ll feel good about yourself and you’ll do your body and mind good!
