Postpartum Exercise- Tip #2 to Tone Your Tush!

Another great postpartum exercise to tone your butt, thighs, and calves is to walk quickly up stairs.  Alternate between walking every other step, and waking up every step.  By alternating between every other step and every step you will target different muscles of the glute, thighs, and calves.  As you walk the stairs walk briskly, pumping your arms.  The more you use your arms, the higher your intensity, and thus the more calories you are burning.  Work up to 5-10 minutes of stairs two times a week…and you, your partner, and friends will be impressed with your toned tush! 🙂
