Prenatal Yoga: Exercise #2- Butterfly Stretch

As your pregnancy progresses it’s common to notice tension in certain areas of your body such as your low back and buttocks.  Try this simple prenatal yoga posture to open up your pelvis and stretch your lower body.  In a seated position bring the soles of your feet together.  Inhale lift your knees towards the ceiling and look up, exhale gently press your knees out to the side and bring your face towards your feet.  Repeat 8-10 times.
