Pregnancy Exercise- Too Tired to Workout

To Sara of Fit by Sara: “I'm so busy with the holidays and tired from being pregnant that I'm having trouble fitting
in any exercise.  Any suggestions?”

From Sara of Fit by Sara: "On top of having the usual fatigue from pregnancy, the holidays can be a stressful time,
full of more “to-do’s” than usual.  Unfortunately, the last “to-do” is often, exercise.  The trick to getting motivated
to exercise is to reinforce how much better you will feel AFTER exercising.  Remind yourself that you’ll have more
energy and therefore get more done.  On top of having more energy, exercise will often help relieve pregnancy pains.

To make sure you get in your exercise, schedule exercise into your week, allotting a minimum of 30-60 minutes of
“exercise time” 3-5 times per week.  The holidays are the perfect time to take up stress relieving exercise such as
walking, yoga, and indoor swimming-all of which will benefit your pregnancy.  With these exercises you’ll likely
experience less muscle pain, potentially easier labor, and quicker bounce back!  All the more reason to make
exercise a priority.- Sara Holliday
