Ever notice that when you’re pregnant suddenly everyone has the right to make comments about EVERYTHING? Nothing seems to be off limits. Strangers will comment on what you’re eating, drinking, the size of your belly, and how you plan to deliver. When I was pregnant with our second child I realized that people used my pregnancy as an opportunity to talk about themselves. I learned to have selective hearing. I’d tune out the negative stories and listen to the positive ones. Now I can look back and say to you pregnant ladies to enjoy the attention because after you have your baby it all goes to your baby! Oops…there I go sharing my “story”! 🙂
