Postpartum Weight Loss: Working Out When You’re Tired

If you’re tired sometimes you can get desired energy from going for a walk or through doing yoga.  However there are times when your body is telling you something and you should listen.  If you’re really tired it may be a sign that your body is trying to fight a virus or you’ve worked to hard physically.  In this case you need to listen to your body and get some rest.  If you don’t get the rest you need, you could end up really sick with the inability to work out for a week or more.  So the moral of this story is to understand your body- if you need a little energy boost exercise may be the cure, but if you’re run down give your body a break. –Sara Holliday MFT, CPT
