Postpartum Weight Loss- What does a fitness pro eat?

To Sara of Fit by Sara: “You’re a fitness pro.  I want to know, what do you normally eat in a day?”

From Fit by Sara: “I have to say that my meals are rather boring because 1. I don’t have a lot of time to make elaborate meals 2. I like to eat simply. So for breakfast I have a large bowl of cereal consisting of Kashi Go Lean Crunch and Autumn Wheat. For snack I usually have a handful of almonds with dark chocolate chips. For lunch I often have a tuna sandwhich on whole wheat or a toasted everything bagel and fruit (apple or berries).  For snack I’ll have a Kashi or Balance Bar.  Often for dinner I’ll have whole wheat thin pasta with marinara sauce and 1-2 turkey meatballs with a mixed green salad w/ avocado.  I mix an Italian Seasonings packet with olive oil and balsalmic vinger.  All day long I drink water and I have one cup of english breakfast tea (with sugar, low fat milk, and light whip).  For dessert I may have a Lindt dark chocolate truffle.” –Sara Holliday MFT, CPT
