Postpartum Weight Loss- Best Ab Work

To Sara of Fit by Sara: “I want to tone up my weak abs. What’s the best ab work to do if I have 5 min. to spend a few times a week and want to work them hard?”

From Fit by Sara: “One of my favorite challenging ab exercises uses a yoga block. What you do is you lay on your back and place a yoga block between your knees. Rest your arms at your sides and try not to use them during this exercise. While squeezing the block between your knees lift your bent knees towards your chest. Slowly lower your bent knees (with the block) so your feet go towards the floor. Only lower to the point that you feel your abs working. If you feel it in your lower back, you have lowered too far. Slowly raise your knees back towards your chest. Repeat for 15 reps. Work up to 3 sets. The advantage of squeezing the block is you’ll work your inner thighs too.
