Postpartum Weight Loss- Abiding by Your Chocolate Cravings

Everyone has cravings, even me, especially chocolate cravings.  There is nothing wrong with having a small treat a day, however you can choose a healthier options.  For example, one of my favorite daily snacks is a handful of almonds mixed with a handful dark chocolate chips.  Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants and has been found to lower blood pressure and in some cases improve mood.  Almonds are high in fiber, protien, and potassium.  So what I call “the power combo” of almonds and dark chocolate chips will fulfill your craving and keep you healthy at the same time.  My motto, “it’s all about moderation and choosing the healthy choice”!
