Postpartum Weight Loss- #1 Weight Loss Tip

To Sara of Fit by Sara: “I’m overwhelmed by all of the weight loss information.  If you were to give the #1 weight loss tip, what would it be?”

“The #1 weight loss tip I have is to learn your body’s hunger cues!  Start noticing when your body is hungry.  Identify what you feel like when you’re hungry. For example when you are hungry are you irritable or tired? Is your stomach rumbling? Once you have identified what you feel like when you are hungry you should eat.  You may notice that you’re hungry more often than you actually thought you were, but were depriving yourself or telling to yourself to wait to eat till a certain time.  When you start eating when you are hungry you will eat more often, but the portions will be smaller, AND you be less likely to crave junk food that packs on pounds.
